Dado has its focus on sunlight and transparency. The front and back facade are fully glazed. The living space runs from front to back, so there is a relationship with both the street (east) and the garden (west).  In order to give the transparent building a fine tactility, the facade (structure) is executed in aluminium. Perforated aluminium screens provide privacy and blinds and give a dynamic character to the building.

The volume comprises four apartments. The main volume consists of three floors and is lifted so that parking can be provided underneath the building at street level. The apartments clearly consist of two parts: day and night. This articulation is also visible in the rational facade.
